A brief history of me

I know this is going to be a lot in one post,
but I feel the need to 'set the mood'.
So here is a quick re-cap of work,
mainly from the first year of my degree...

After exploring different methods and practices, I found a 'site-based' approach to my work the most appealing. For this project the site I was focusing on was a dis-used army barracks in the village of Marchington, Staffordshire. Once again my practice involved extensive work with photography.

The following work is taken from my 'site-based' module.
This project focused on creating work as a reaction to a particular place. For this module we visited Berlin, Germany. On returning home, I created a visual diary of the sites and events which happened during the trip.

The following work is taken from my 'two dimensional' module.
This project was all about experimenting with two dimensional materials, including different methods of drawing, printing and painting with pigments. If I'm honest, I didn't enjoy this module at all. But it still provided an interesting experience.

The following work is taken from my 'spatial practice' module.
The aim of this project was to produce three dimensional work based on the theme of narrative, using a 'found' object. I decided to work with an old photography album, which resulted in the work I created being strongly photography based.
